CHIRAG'S POV

I still don't know why did I come here.....I am not suppose to be here in this local market while people are drooling over us. The shopkeepers hurriedly came to me when my security stopped them.

"Khamma ghani hukum sa....aap yahaan..humaare to bhaag khul gye"
( Greetings hukum sa ...we are privileged by your presence)

"Paraag aap sb log alg alg directions mein unhe dhundiye...laado ne kya kaha hai...unki dost ko kaise pehchaniyega?"
( PARAAG....you all move in different directions to find her....what did laado said about her outfit?)

"Hukum sa....hum unhe pehchante hai .... Unhone ne kaha hai unki dost ne red kurta pehna hai "
( I can recognise her...I have seen her before ....she is wearing red kurta)

"Hukum sa....ek larki aayi thi laal rang ke kurta mein.... seher ki lg rhi thi..thori bhari bhari gol matol si hai...udhr tisre gali ke trf gyi thi saree kharidne ke baad....raghu apne aadmi ke saath udhr hi gya hai"
( Hukum sa...a girl came wearing red kurta...she was looking like someone from city....a little fat....she went in the third alley to buy a saree....raghu...the local goons has gone in that direction with his men)

"PARAAG...unhe humare riyasat mein kuch nhi hona chahiye...aap sbhi log uss raghu ke aadmi ko dhundiye...hum unki dost ko dekhte hai"
( PARAAG...nothing should happen to her in my city..go and find the people of raghu)

"Pr aap pehchanenge kaise?"
( How will you recognise her)

Chiraag said nothing as he moved in the stated direction. For some unknown reason his heart thudded as fear crept in. Damn it....why do I fear...I don't even know her....may be she is a girl in danger that too in my city that's why I am concerned though his subconscious did not agreed with his justification...he shook his head and concentrated on finding her.As he headed towards the narrow dark alley , he collided with a figure, slight chubby or to be precised curvy but in a good way.. to prevent the impact...his hands automatically wrapped around her soft clothed waist when she shut her eyes in fear.

She...looked....ethernal....her thin pink lips trembled....her long natural eyelashes fluttered ,the eyebrows knitted together may be in fear,her skin was flushed due to running....her curly brown-black hair was tied in a loose pony tail that was messed up yet framed her round face in most attractive way. She wore a silver chain with a rudraksh in it that enhances her neckline.her perfect full round bossom against his hard chest while his heart flipped and he felt tingling sensation all over his body.
This was wrong...this should not be happening

There was something in her simplicity that captivated me. The serene features blending with her childlike innocent feature ; her clumsiness still vivid

His heart whispered quietly "it's her ...it's vaani.....she is...........cute...red colour suits her..."

He slowly asked her if she was okay when she blinked her eyes in most innocent way when his breath caught. Her big brown brown honey orbs bored in his coal black one. Time stilled as he felt himself lost in those brown one...it felt magnetic...she in his arms.... everything was perfect like she was always suppose to be there ...she belonged that way when she shove him away and she sprinted on her foot.

"Jldi bhagiye...."
( Run quickly)

Her bold yet attractive voice bright him out of his daze. She looked fire

Wait....why should I run...I am the hukum sa...people fear me....I should not be the one running before he could reason out more She clasped her fingers tight around his wrist when he felt a sudden jolt. she was dragging him out of the market as if she was the one protecting him.

As she guided him out of the market,everybody stared at the duo in disbelief,it was the first time someone was dragging " the hukum sa" like a sac and God knows what got into him...he too did not protested but followed like a lost puppy while his eyes were only on her.

Just her

His security got hold on the goons while Paraag was too stunned to make a move when Vaani threw him in the passenger seat of one of his black car that followed him on his way from airport to here. He was to amused to register what happened only to realise that the car was already in motion while Vaani muttered a little sorry to her maha dev and drove away the car with much practiced ease.

She changed the gear that looked pretty sexy , so she knows to drive , impressive. The way she handled the steering wheel as she breathed a sigh of relief

"stop gawking mr. Dark green....I know men find it attractive..she winked....when women drive them crazy"

Chirag's mouth was hung low as he was at loss of words " shameless....kaisi larki hai....koi tameez nhi hai" his ear tips turned red as heat crawled to his neck and cheeks. Godd....she is to straight forward.
( What kind of girl she is....she doesn't have any manner)

"Aap kis ki gaadi utha kr le jaa rhi hai?"
( Whose car are you driving away?)

It was then when Vaani realised she was driving someone's car.

"Hum....wo.....humne mahadev dev se sorry keh diya hai....apni jaan bachana zyada important hai....baad mein gaadi wps krwa denge"
( I...that....I have apologized from my mahadev....it's more important to save my life...I will return the car later)

She gave her puppy eyes convincing the handsome man that she was innocent . Chirag masked his amused smile at her antics.the way she fumbled trying to justify herself was cute.

"waise your welcome...I know humne aapki jaan bachaayi hai...thank you ki zarurat nhi hai"
(By the way..your welcome....I know I rescued you...no need to say thank you)

Chirag raised his eyebrows as he intensely looked at her...great...he was the one who came to save her....whose security got hold of the goons...and she is saying ...she saved him....just wowwww...this girl was impossible....she got some guts....

"Excuse me...aapne hume bachaya?Aap kisi ko bhi apne saath le kr kisi bhi anjaan aadmi ki gaadi chura leti hai?"
(Excuse me....you rescued me? Do you really carry any strange along with you and steal the car?)

"Humne churaya nhi hai...bs gaadi liya hai"
( I did not steal...I have just taken the car)

"Vaani....aapko nhi lgta aapko gaadi ke owner se puch lena chahiye tha"
(Vaani... don't you think you should have taken the permission of the owner)

"Hum kaise puchte.....ek second......aapko humara naam kaise pta? Khi aap humare stalker to nhi...dikhne mein to kaafi handsome hai aur sharif khandaan kr bhi lgte hai...aur hume stalk krte hai shrm hai ki nhi"
( How would have I asked....one minute....how do you know my name....are you my stalker....you look handsome and from well to do family... don't you feel ashamed of stalking me.)

Chirag was utter speechless...this woman was calling him a stalker and did not even know who he was while he came to save her like a crazy man god knows why.
He avoided her questions as he called on a particular no. And forwarded the phone to her keeping it on speaker.

"Hello bhai sa.....Paraag bhai ka call aaya tha...aapko vaanu mili"
( Hello Bhai sa....Paraag bhai called ...did you find Vaani?)

Vaani all of a sudden put her feet on the break and the two jerked forward. All the colour from her face drained as she looked in his direction in horror.

"Good....she should be scared of me...I am the stalker right...then let's be one"

She couldn't form any word as her big doe eyes formed in saucer and Chirag smirked as small smile played on his lips.

VAANI'S POV

Shittt....please.....dear ground....just split open and swallow me now

"Aapki dost bilkul thik hai laado.....and thanks to her.....unhone Hume bachaya aur ab humare car mein hume hi kidnap kr ke aapke paas laa rhi hain"
( Your friend is fine laado...and thanks to her....see has rescued me and now she has kidnapped me in my own car , driving to you)

He suppressed his smile but shreya could hear it.

"Is bhai sa for real.....is he smiling.... infront of someone other than family "

"Sorry Bhai sa.....aap usse humaari baat kraaiye please....hello...vaanu...tum thik ho na....who bhai sa hume lene aa rhe the to wo tumhe lene chle gye ...jldi aa jao 3 bje gye hai...tumhari train ka time bhi ho rha hai"

Shreya ended the call while Vaani could still not meet her gaze with him.

After ponding of all the available options she turned towards the passenger seat smiling, showing off her perfect pearly while teeth

"Hellooo.....I am so sorry....actually....I did not know....please take in the driving seat.....it's my pleasure to meet you hukum sa...I must say....hum kaafi shi dikhte hai....hume to lga aap Wattpad ke male lead hai"

As the words slipped.....Chirag's heart fluttered"hukum sa" from her mouth spelled different....too good...he gave small nod maintaining his stoic face as she drove further to her hostel.

" Wattpad?"

" Are....wo hote hai jo din ka chain raat ki neend sb ura lete hai....kasam se...humari dost ke bhai nhi hote to propose kr dete aapko"

Chirag was stunned, embarassed...his ears red,heart thudded in unusual pace.
Vaani's remark was something that he did not expected at all...that too when he is hukum sa.

"Hum aapko stalker kis angle se lge?"

"Waise lge to kisi bhi angle se nhi...kaafi ache dikhte hai aap."

Chirag was stunned. She praised him. Although he had listened the same from many people, listening this from her made his heart flutter.

JODHPUR MEDICAL COLLEGE

As the car came to hault,Vaani saw shreya waiting for her at the entrance while the other 4 black car was parked near by. She caught the sight of a tall man...more likely thinking him of as Paraag....the loyal man of the royal family....Vaani jumped of the car while shreya ran to her taking her in a bear hug.

"Are you okay vaanu....I was so scared....hume lga hum tumh kho denge....agli baar agr aap aise jgh gyi to sch mein tumhara aseer hoga aur humara slipper"

Her eyes glistered as she hugged again. She was actually scared....in last 3 month she has found a family in her she has always craved for.

"Come on rotru baby....mrre nhi hai hum....tum to aise to rhi ho jaise humari 13vi pr aayi ho"

"Abhi sch mein hum bahut maarenge tumko agr ek baar bakwaas ki...waise yhi hai tumhara dark green saree...agr aaj kuch ho jata to yhi dark green saree pehen kr ghumti kya"

Shreya said looking at the packet as it was still hung around her wrist while Vaani grinned

"Hum kya kre...tumhe pta hai na...dark green is my favourite colour....I just can't resist...hume ye lena hi tha...nhi to hume shaanti nhi aata"

Chirag suddenly looked at his reflection in the car side mirror observing his green suit inwardly smiling at the way she referred him as mr. Dark green. So she is obsessed eith dark green.he smiled.

"Hmm hmmm.....I guess hum bhi apni laado se kaafi mahine baad mil rhe hai"

"Jaiko khi ke"
Vaani muttered

Kuch kaha aapne"

"Aapne kuch suna"

"Aap bahut bolti hain"

"Aapko kisi ne roka hai...aap bhi boliye....GST nhi lgta hai... bhagwaan ne itni shi shakal di hai...istemaal kriye"

"You"

"V....hume uske aage bhi aata hai...."

Shreya and Paraag giggled at their sweet banter as it was a rare sight to see chirag in not his "hukum sa" persona.

Chirag was shocked...she was insufferable....for the first time someone has got under his skin....this woman was fierce...

he was a little jealous as how much his sister was oblivious to his presence because her entire focus was on her friend.
Shreya turned on her heels and hugged his bhai sa.

"Aisi baat nhi hai bhai...I missed you too....bahut sara...sch mein...kasam se..."

Chirag was not able to get over the shocks he has been receiving this very day....shreya was never this hugging and expressing type. She use to always fold her hand...giving away shy smiled and nods....in precise....woman of few words. The other part of him was happy that finally shreya was letting him in and not bottling up her emotions. He patted her head .

"Agli baar campus se bahar bina security ke jaane se pehle sochiyega....hume ache se maalum hai aap bahut bahadur hai....lekin phir bhi"

"Ji Bhai sa"

" Aap chinta Mt kriye....ek katta hum inhe dedenge....self defence "

"Katta?"

"Are apne bihar mein katta chlta hai.....ek katta mein saamne wala ka sidha upr ka ticket kat ta hai"

Vaani spoke proudly as Chirag looked at her in horror. Shreya chuckled at his brother's reaction.
This was her Vaani....too impossible to be tamed.

"Chliye....kaafi thk gye hai...shreya aaiye icecream khaate hai... butterscotch cornato....Paraag bhai come"

"Ice cream ke liye hum kbhi nhi mana krte hai ma'am....humare pet mein humesha jgh rehta hai"
PARAAG happily chimmed

"PARAAG...hum aapko ice cream khaane ke liye salary nhi dete hai"

"Chinta Mt kriye...hume koi salary nhi deta....Paraag bhai Aaj hum aapko icecream khilaayenge...dekhte hai kon rokta hai...kisi aur ko khana hai to aa skte hai...sayad naak pr baitha gussa chla jaaye"

The duo giggled at their cat fight.Vaani indirectly invited chirag while he ignored her. The three marched towards the ice-cream trolly and asked for ice cream.
Chirag stood leaning on his bonet of rolls Royce while scrolling through his phone when Vaani approached him with a butterscotch icecream nudging his arm with her elbow.

"Icecream kha lijiye...height bhale aapki zyada hai pr dil humara bhi bahut bara hai....thank you smjh lijiye"

" Aapka icecream aapko Mubarak"

"Chliye chliye...bhao mt khaaiye.....pet nhi bhrta..."

Chiraag said nothing and took the ice-cream though he did not want to and ate it in silence.

Chirag: Paraag.....paise de dijiye

Vaani: hum de denge

Chirag: aapko dene ki zarurat nhi hai...hum de denge

Vaani: areeee...ye treat humari hai...hum kaafi independent hai

Vaani did not wait for his reply as she marched towards the ice-cream cream trolly and paid.
Chirag kept on staring her....the one who was bold...did not need him...she owned a power that was pulling him in towards her like a gravity.

the other two pairs of eyes were ready to bulge out.

"PARAAG bhai.....mere bhai sa hi hai na wo....jo meetha tk nhi chute....ice cream kha rhe hai"

"Pta nhi rajkumari.....hume lgta hai Vaani ma'am ne inhe waha se ghasit ke laya hai na...uske wjh se inke dimaag pr asr hua hai"

"Kuch bhi....pr bhai sa ke chehre pr dekhiye....ek sukoon hai...wo utne guarded nhi lg rhe....aur aaj pehli baar humne unhe kisi ke saath bachon ke trh larte huye dekha hai...nhi to unka ek command hi kaafi hota hai"

"Lgta hai bihar ke Mausam ka asr hai"

The duo wondered what was cooking .

"Patna Jana hai ki nhi...ek ghnte mein train hai tumhara"

"Aree haaaa...finally hum ghr jaayenge...hum mare jaa rhe the....hum cab le kr niklte hai...packing to pehli hi kr liya tha humne"

"Aap dono aa jaaiye aapki dost ko station drop kr ke palace chlenge"

Chirag stated while Paraag and shreya narrowed their eyes at him. The one who stays on principal of minding his own business was offering to drop Vaani at station by himself. That was nothing like chirag singhaniya...something was surely fishy

"Hume zarurat nhi hai....hum khud chle jaayenge"
Vaani retorted.

"Haa taaki phir kisi ko peet de aur gunde inke peeche lg jaaye....shreya....hum zyada nhi bolenge...apni dost ko khiye jldi kre ...train ka time ho jaayega"
Chirag backfired without delay

"Bhai sa shi keh rhe hai....late ho jaayega...jldi chlo"

Vaani linked her arms with Shreya's and happily bounced in the campus while chirag stared at their disappearing figure with unknown emotions in his eyes.

"Aap thik hai na hukum sa...hospital chle kya...hume aapki fikr ho rhi hai"

"Hume kya hua"

"Aap ajib behave kr rhe hai....itna smile to aapne pichle 5 saal mein nhi kiya hoga jitna aapne pichle aadhe ghnte mein kr diya aur upr se aap Vaani ma'am ko khud drop krne ke liye bol rhe hai isliye....aap bodyguards ko bhi to bol skte hai...5-5 gaadiyan hai"

Chirag said nothing as he himself was not aware how to answer him. He just felt like protecting her. She was for sure to clumsy,always ending up in problems by the time he had heard about her yet she had a different charm which he couldn't resist himself from.

Shreya and Vaani settled in back seat of rolls Royce while Paraag and chirag settled in front. The entire ride,Vaani kept of non stop chattering with shreya and he was amused seeing shreya being so comfortable with her. Her sister never spoke much and this was new to him yet warm. He kept on glancing at vaani's smiling face from the rear view mirror, the way her lips curved as she smiled, her loud laugh that was nothing like what girls do, it was careless yet the most natural music to his ears. Her cheeks moved slightly upward as she spoke in excitement and her eyes brightened . She was a treat to watch

The car came to its hault as the two friends stepped out hugging each other and swaying as the did not give damn about people watching. Chirag wanted to disappear....too many eyes watching this minion as if they were seeing each other for the last time

The duo waved their goodbye as the evening sunlight reflected from the honey brown orbs captivating the black coal in hers.he wishpered

"Sparkle"

And unknown to him,his heart to agreed "his sparkle"

"Bye to you too Mr. Dark green phir aapse mulakat zaruri hogi"

Chirag couldn't help but smile at her as she turned on her heels.
His heart still tugged at the chubby woman whom he met few hours ago like a hurricane and had stirred the chords of his heart while he returned on his way to palace...his heart long forgotten with his sparkle.
